Smith Mountain Lake Community Park Beach.
Beach Cost and Usage
The cost of using the beach/swimming area is $2.00 per adult and children 3 & under are FREE. Children ages 14 & under must be accompanied by a responsible adult while on the beach. Beach users will need to enter the center gate to receive a wristband for the day from the lifeguard. This beach is open only when lifeguards are on duty and swimming is only permitted in the designated swimming area. Please make sure to call our office if you are planning on bringing in a large group for the day.

Beach Information and Directions
The 37-acre Smith Mountain Lake Community Park opened in June 2007. It is a family oriented facility providing swimming, fishing and family recreation.
The park is open year-round (dawn - dusk) and offers a partly-covered handicap accessible fishing pier with seating, picnic shelters with grill, playground area, restrooms, hiking, jogging, 1.7 miles of walking trails, swimming lane and a seasonal community beach with lifeguards on duty when open.
Smith Mountain Lake Community Park is located at the end of Park Place Boulevard. By land take 122 toward Westlake, at Scruggs Road take a right and then follow the park signs to wind your way into this beautiful park.

Birthday Beach Party Packages (for ages 2-17) (based on availability of facility and lifeguards) - This party package will get you exclusive use of the beach, 2 lifeguards and the picnic shelter next to the beach. Party times are 6:30pm-8:30pm. Call 540-483-9293 for more information!
