This is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the same stretch of river that Ramble Weekend participants will float. Raymond Williams, ACA certified instructor, will lead this float and acquaint you with 4 miles of the Pigg River Blueway. You will have the opportunity to practice boat handling skills. All equipment is provided

Raymond Williams, ACA certified instructor, will lead the adventures at Woody Lake, located at the Franklin County Parks & Recreation Department on Sontag Road. Come develop confidence tracking, prying and using your j-stroke in this beginner level flatwater canoe class. Expect to be in the canoe for about 2.5 hours. No experience is necessary for the American Canoe Association led program. All equipment is provided. Please bring water and snacks

These guided hikes will take you three to five miles throughout the Extensive trail system at Waid Park. Participants will hike at a casual group pace. Please bring a light source.
